National Day of Remembrance of Pregnancy & Infant Loss

I read over on Bring the Rain that today (10/15/08) is the National Day of Remembrance of pregnancy and infant loss. She is going to pray for anyone that has had a loss and I thought I could do the same over here since our blogs reach different scopes of people. This is any baby that has died whether it was to miscarriage, stillbirth, SIDs, or any other type of infant death. It's strange how closely this falls to Samuel's birthday...

I wanted to recognize some of the babies I know that have gone to be with the Lord and thought that if you could pray for their parents today I know that would mean a lot to them. I know there are so many more. If you or someone you know has lost a baby at any stage of pregnancy or infant loss add their names and how they lost their baby so we can be praying for them today.

Little Isaac was 4 mo. gestation when mom lost him.

Gabrielle was only 6 wks.

Stacey was discovered in the womb and was taken by DNC around 9 wks.

What a wonderful day to remember the little ones AND their parents.

Barry and Renee also lost a baby due to miscarriage. I believe they named her Angel.

Just wanted to say thanks for keeping up with me and praying for me while I'm in Peru. I feel like a bum for never writing you, so I'm trying to make up for it by commenting here :). Anyways, I'm praying for you, too, and looking forward to seeing you in December!

That's neat that it is one day after Samuel's birthday. It is amazing how many people have lost babies! Jenny (my SIL) had a miscarriage last year. It is so exciting that we're both having our babies around the same time that we lost them the previous year! God is good.
