Candle Lighting Ceremony

I went to a candle lighting ceremony last night. The ceremony, which took place nationwide in all time-zones at 7:00pm, was in remembrance of the precious babies each had lost. I had never been to anything like that before, but it was encouraging to talk to others who have gone through the loss of a child. There was a news team there and Landon and I made the 10:00 news! Each person would go up, light their candle, and speak the name of the baby/babies that they had lost. It was neat to hear Samuel's name broadcasted (this portion made the newscast!). What a neat ceremony. Were you able to talk with any of the other mothers?

Brooke - yeah I was able to talk to a few of the families. I talked to that couple in the clip that lost the twins. They were actually pregnant again and due any day, so that was neat. There was one girl who lost one of her twins 10 years ago at 32 weeks, then just 5 months ago lost another baby at 27 weeks. That was really sad...
